Terms and Conditions for Online Courses

1. Introduction Welcome to The Advocacy Academy (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By purchasing and accessing our online courses, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please review these terms carefully before enrolling.
2. Enrollment and Access
Enrollment in a course grants you a non-transferable, limited license to access the course materials for personal, non-commercial use.
Courses with a live component cannot be transferred to a future date.
Access to course materials is provided for a specified duration as stated at the time of purchase.
Sharing login credentials or course content with others is strictly prohibited.
3. Payments and Refunds
All course fees must be paid in full before access is granted.
Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in our refund policy (see Appendix A).
We reserve the right to offer discounts or promotional pricing at our discretion.
4. Intellectual Property
All course materials, including videos, text, graphics, and downloadable content, are the intellectual property of The Advocacy Academy and are protected by copyright laws.
You may not copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without prior written consent from us.
5. Code of Conduct
Users must engage respectfully and professionally in any discussion forums, webinars, or other interactive features.
Harassment, abusive language, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in account suspension or termination.
6. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Our courses are provided for educational purposes only. We make no guarantees regarding outcomes or results.
We are not responsible for any technical issues that may prevent access to course content, though we will make reasonable efforts to resolve them.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim any liability for damages resulting from your use of our courses.
7. Modification of Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Any updates will be posted on our website, and continued use of our courses constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Appendix A. Refund Policy for Online Courses
1. Overview We strive to provide high-quality online courses and want you to be satisfied with your purchase. However, if you are not satisfied, you may be eligible for a refund under the following conditions.
2. Eligibility for Refunds
Refund requests must be made within 14 days of purchase.
To be eligible for a refund, you must not have completed more than 30% of the course content.
Courses purchased during promotional or discounted periods may not be eligible for refunds unless otherwise specified.
Refunds are not available for courses that include downloadable content that has already been accessed.
3. How to Request a Refund
To initiate a refund request, please contact our support team at Training@AdvocacyAcademy.org. with your order details and reason for the refund request.
We may request additional information to process your request.
4. Processing of Refunds
Approved refunds will be processed within 7 business days.
Refunds will be credited back to the original payment method used during purchase.
We are not responsible for any transaction fees or processing delays imposed by your payment provider.
5. Exceptions
We reserve the right to deny refund requests that do not meet the above criteria.
In cases of account misuse or policy violations, refunds will not be granted.
If a course is discontinued or removed, refunds may be issued at our discretion.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this refund policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
